Too Strange, Weird or Just Funny....
According
to the Associated Press, February
14, 2005, a man from Bakersville, California is suing a doctor for
removing one of his testicles. The suit states that a biopsy was not
preformed on the testicle in question. After the surgery, the testicle was
found to be not malignant and didn’t need to be removed. The
lawsuit claims he "has been caused to sustain severe and permanent
physical and emotional injuries, including but not limited to the loss of
plaintiff's testicle, as well as residual disfigurement, scarring and
pain." He is asking for an undisclosed financial settlement. Well, I
think the man has a point. However, if I were he I would be thankful that
it was not malignant and that I was alive.
In Colombia, South Carolina birds got drunk from eating holly berries were flying into the windows of an office building. "It was like an Alfred Hitchcock movie," worker Denise Wilkinson said. "It was spooky. You could hear them where they flew into the glass." The heat and the supply of holly berries provided the impetus for the birds to “get drunk” and fly into the windows. Over 100 birds died. Ground’s keepers were going to cover the berry bushes with nets to keep the birds away from them. Also, they were going to pit strips of masking tape across the windows to alert the birds of the glass. Strange, but true. That goes to show you. Those airline pilots are not the only flyers to get into trouble from intoxicating behavior.
