Comment: Opinion of this Webmaster
The webmaster of this site sincerely apologies to all people (without regard to race, sex, religion, creed, handicap, sexual preference or political affiliation) for the highly derogatory and explosive comments of Rev. Jerry Falwell. Make no mistake, God is a loving and just God. It is my belief that God does not send these types of events to us as a punishment. If that were true, then we would all be dead, because we all sin. Each of us will face the Lord, individually. Only God who is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit has the right to pass judgment on us. Please do not take the comments of Rev. Falwell and the agreeing Rev. Robertson as the Word of God. Do not harden your hearts, rather forgive them for their ignorance. They too are God's children. They too make mistakes. As Americans, they have the constitutional right to voice their opinions.
As a liberal Democrat, I apologize for my part in the Attack On America.
As Rev. Billy Graham stated in his address at the memorial service in Washington D.C. yesterday, "I do not totally understand why these things happen. Faith is my answer." (paraphrased)
Make no mistake, President George W. Bush "does not share those views". I pray that the President distances himself from the political views of the Moral Majority. It is imperative that we, Americans, remain united and committed to winning this war on terrorism.
God, forgive us for our sins. Make us sensitive and tolerant of all your children. We know that sin exists in the world, but each of us individually must take responsibility for our own sin. And above all, You Are The One And Only Lord, Lord Of Heaven And Earth! Amen.
